Ronald Acuña Jr., an outfielder for the Atlanta Braves, took part in team workouts and batting practice on Thursday following positive news about his right knee injury.
Acuña was anticipated to be ready for Opening Day after being diagnosed with inflammation in his right knee earlier this week. He was given permission to progressively start playing baseball. If all goes as planned, Acuña might soon be back in the Braves lineup here.
