Done Deal: Los Angeles Rams Just Confirm Signing Two Sensational Star Man

1,000 Oaks, California – On Friday, the Rams hired Sean Desai and Jerry Schuplinski as Senior Assistant coaches, expanding their coaching staff for 2024.

The Eagles hired Desai as their defensive coordinator most recently. He was the defensive assistant and associate head coach for the Seattle Seahawks in 2022 before moving to Philadelphia.

Desai began his NFL coaching career with the Chicago Bears, where he coached defensive quality control from 2013 to 18 and then the safeties from 2019 to 20. In 2021, he was elevated to defensive coordinator.

Outside linebackers coach and special teams coordinator in 2010, he started his coaching career at Temple as a graduate assistant in 2006–09. After serving as Miami (Florida)’s assistant director of football operations for a single season in 2011, he moved on to Boston College in 2012 to take on the roles of special teams coordinator and running backs coach.

Prior to being named tight ends coach in 2023, Schuplinski served as a senior offensive assistant coach for the Las Vegas Raiders for the previous two seasons, starting in 2022. Prior to that, he worked as the quarterbacks coach for the New York Giants for two seasons (2020–21), having previously spent one season as the Miami Dolphins’ assistant quarterbacks coach (2019) and six seasons as the offensive assistant (2013–15) and assistant quarterbacks coach (2016–18) of the New England Patriots. Schuplinski started his NFL coaching career in New England.

Schuplinski worked as a graduate assistant at John Carroll for two seasons (2000–01), as the head coach of Trinity High School in Ohio (2002–06), and as the linebackers coach and special teams coordinator at Case Western Reserve (2007–12) before making his NFL debut.
