Good News: Just In New York Giants Confirm Signing Another Top Sensational Super Star Player From NFL

Long snapper is still a key player for the Giants, even though their special teams unit hasn’t exactly been consistent in recent years at the punter and kicker positions. Long snapper Casey Kreiter is being re-signed by the organization to play for the Giants for a fifth season, according to Jordan Ranaan of ESPN.

In 2014, Kreiter was an undrafted free agent out of Iowa who signed a contract with the Cowboys. He eventually made his way to Denver in 2016 after failing to unseat L.P. Ladouceur, the team’s longtime starter at the position. Before sustaining a calf injury that ended his season during a practice in December, Kreiter was the Broncos’ long snapper, taking over for the departed Aaron Brewer. After re-signing, he managed to hold onto his starting position and made his first and only Pro Bowl appearance with Denver in 2018.

After two years, Kreiter moved from Colorado to New York to battle against Zak DeOssie, who played long snapper for the Giants from 2007 to 19 for 13 years. DeOssie retired following Kreiter’s victory in the preseason, which allowed Kreiter to take the lead on special teams going forward. Although there was speculation that Kreiter would draw interest from other clubs in the league, New York manages to cling onto some continuity in their special teams unit.
