Breaking News: Just IN Los Angeles Dodgers Are Set To Sign The Youngest Experienced Super Star

Willy Adames of the Milwaukee Brewers is still a target for the Los Angeles Dodgers, a league source told Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. The Brewers currently have no desire to move him. After this season, Adames, who is 28 years old, will be available for free agency.

Willy Adames was a member of the Milwaukee Brewers for 149 games in the previous season. With 24 home runs, 80 RBIs, five stolen bases, and three caught stealing attempts, he had a batting average of.217. Additionally, Adames batted.310 in his final season with Milwaukee.

Gavin Lux lost his shortstop spot to Mookie Betts during spring training, which is one of the key reasons the Los Angeles Dodgers are interested in trade for Adames. For Betts, shortstop is more of an outfield position than an offensive one.

Lux suffered an injury that kept him out of the 2023 season. The overwhelming favorites to win the 2024 World Series are the Dodgers. Los Angeles is constantly trying to bolster their lineup.

If the Milwaukee Brewers are out of contention before the MLB Trade Deadline in 2024, they would most likely trade shortstop Willy Adames to the Los Angeles Dodgers or somewhere else.

If the Brewers are out of contention by this year’s MLB trade deadline, Adames’ name will be highly sought after on the trade market. In 2024, Milwaukee might very possibly see a transitional season. With his glove and bat, Willy Adames can certainly aid contenders.

Matt Arnold, the general manager, hopes to offer him a new deal and would like not to trade him this season. With one year left on his contract, they dealt starting pitcher Corbin Burnes to the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for a few players, although they did not offer him a new contract.

It would be improper for the Brewers to not move Willy Adames for additional prospects if they find out later in the season that they are eliminated from the running and will also not be able to sign him again. It is not necessary to trade him to the Los Angeles Dodgers or any other MLB contender that will desire a shortstop, though, if they are leading the division at the time of the MLB trade deadline.
