Parkinson, 25, most recently was a member of the Seattle Seahawks, where he finished his career with 54 career regular season games (four starts) and 57 receptions for 618 yards and four touchdowns. The 6-foot-7, 251-pound Parkinson has links to the area in addition to his familiarity with the NFC West. He graduated from Oaks Christian School in Westlake Village.
The Rams’ tight end room was signed by Davis Allen, Hunter Long, Tyler Higbee, and Nikola Kalinic (future/reserve) before Parkinson was signed. However, Higbee is presently out due to surgery to address a knee injury he sustained against the Lions. Long’s 2023 season was cut short by injuries, as he only played in four games. Brycen Hopkins is also a forthcoming unrestricted free agent.
Parkinson, a native of Simi Valley, was first selected by the Seahawks (133rd overall) in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, out of Stanford.
