Former Miami Dolphins receiver Cedrick Wilson is a free agent receiver that the New Orleans Saints are adding to their receiving corps.
After playing for the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins for five seasons, Wilson, 29, is moving to New Orleans. Wilson, a native of Memphis, Tennessee, was selected by the Cowboys in the 2019 draft out of Boise State.
For the Dolphins in 2023 and 2022, Wilson appeared in 15 games. He has 22 receptions for 296 yards and three touchdowns in the previous campaign. With Dallas in 2021, he had his best season by far with 45 receptions, 602 yards, and six touchdowns.
Wilson might be the wide receiver that’s been missing and that supporters had thought will sign shortly. Although many predicted a reunion between Derek Carr and former wide receiver Hunter Renfrow of the Las Vegas Raiders, Wilson might be the most suitable candidate.
Wilson has agreed to a two-year contract with New Orleans, though the specifics of that agreement are currently unknown.
