LATEST NEWS: Cowboys Commanders sign another ex-star player

Dan Quinn is organizing Cowboys East in Washington.

ESPN’s John Keim reported on Sunday that the Washington Commanders will sign cornerback Noah Igbinoghene. Igbinoghene, 24, played for the Dallas Cowboys last year alongside incoming Commanders coach Quinn, who was previously the defensive coordinator in Dallas.

Seattle Seahawks should be scared off from Dan Quinn based on this rumor

Igbinoghene, a first-round choice in the 2020 NFL Draft (No. 30 overall), now spends more time on special teams than defense. But he fills that duty admirably, even scoring the Cowboys’ first touchdown of the 2023 season by returning a blocked field goal 58 yards to the house in Week 1 against the New York Giants.

Igbinoghene joins Quinn’s roster of returning players this offseason. Earlier this month, the Commanders hired former Cowboys defensive end Dorance Armstrong, as well as a well-known former Dallas Pro Bowl player.
