Jalen Green, 22 years old, is already one of the NBA’s most skilled young players. But, during a post-game interview, the Houston Rockets shooting guard may have revealed that he is already a parent.
However, before the interview, the Rockets traveled to Capital One Arena to face the Washington Wizards. In that game, Houston defeated Washington 137-114.
Green had a spectacular performance that night, with 42 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists. Rockets rookie Amen Thompson scored 25 points and 10 rebounds to help Houston win.
Kyle Kuzma, Deni Avdija, and Tyus Jones were all absent from the Wizards’ lineup. Instead, Corey Kispert, Justin Champagnie, and Jules Bernard led Washington with 16 points each.
This loss cemented the Wizards’ record as the NBA’s worst, with 11 victories and 58 losses. The Rockets, meanwhile, are 11th in the Western Conference with a 33-35 record and are still missing young big man Alperen Sengun.
Houston Rockets star Jalen Green appears to have confirmed he is a father.
Since the Rockets returned from the All-Star break, Green has averaging 23.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists. His efficiency has also increased to 44 percent on the field and 38 percent beyond the perimeter.
After over a week of exhibiting a tattoo of Draya Michele’s name on his tummy, Green appears to have revealed that his reported partner has given birth to his child. While the Rockets star did not mention Michele or the infant by name, supporters saw his response as an appreciation of their family.
Michele is 39 years old, while Green turned 22 past February. It remains to be seen if the Rockets star will reveal more in the coming weeks.
