With a former Super Bowl champion, the Los Angeles Rams will try to advance to Round 2.
RThe ams and free agency wide receiver Tyler Johnson have reached an agreement, according to a story published on Sunday by NFL reporter Aaron Wilson. Johnson, who played with the Rams the previous season, has a new contract.
During the 2020 season, Johnson, 25, won a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Johnson signed with the Rams for 2023 after spending some of 2022 with the Houston Texans after departing Tampa after the 2021 season.
Johnson is only used as an emergency depth piece because he only had two receptions for eight yards and one touchdown during the previous campaign.
However, the Rams continue to find something appealing in the former fifth-round pick, and Johnson is the most recent member of the team’s receiving group to sign a contract extension.
