Could Premier League Makes Marcus Rashford As Their March Goal Of The Month Award

The Premier League has nominated Marcus Rashford for their March Goal of the Month award after his spectacular performance in the Manchester derby.

Early in the match at the Etihad Stadium at the beginning of the month, Rashford scored his sixth goal of the season against our city’s rivals.

Bruno Fernandes was cool and collected as he waited to set up our number ten after Andre Onana had produced a perfectly lofted pass to him.

Ederson had no chance as Marcus struck with such force that the red corner of the pitch rejoiced as his shot smacked into the net via the crossbar.

Sadly, United was unable to hold onto their advantage as the Blues seized charge in the second half and won 3-1.

But even that dismal result could not overshadow Marcus’s rocket, and Rashford’s 82nd goal in the league (he has since added an 83rd, from the penalty spot against Everton) may have set a record for him.

Despite winning four Player of the Month awards in his eight-year professional career, the 26-year-old has not yet been listed among the Premier League’s Goal of the Month winners.

With nine awards total since the award’s inception in 2016, United’s players have more than any other club. This season, Bruno Fernandes (September), Alejandro Garnacho (November), and Kobbie Mainoo (February) have each won three.

No team has ever won three or more times in a single season, however West Ham did so in 2020–2021 as well. Marcus has to garner more votes than a few other very deserving candidates in order to create history. The following objectives are all up for nomination as well:
