Tonight’s game between the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors will probably decide who gets the last slot in the play-in round. Not every team is 100 percent healthy either.
Jonathan Kuminga and Gary Payton II are the two Warriors players with injury reports. Due to bilateral knee tendinitis, Jonathan Kuminga’s status is labeled as questionable. He hasn’t participated in a game since March 26 against the Miami Heat. Gary Payton II most likely has left ankle discomfort. Against the Houston Rockets, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green are all listed as available.
On their injury report, the Houston Rockets had Alperen Sengun, Steven Adams, Tari Eason, Nate Hinton, and Jermaine Samuels Jr. listed as injured players. Right ankle sprains have sidelined Alperen Sengun; right knee PCL surgery has sidelined Steven Adams; left tibia surgery has sidelined Tari Eason; and G League two-way injuries have rendered Nate Hinton and Jermaine Samuels Jr. uncertain.
The Golden State Warriors will have a four-game lead and the tiebreaker if they win today, effectively ending the competition for the 10th seed. Since there has been a lot of trash talk between the two teams leading up to tonight’s game, it could be very entertaining.
