After Pro Bowler Shaq Barrett left in free agency, the Buccaneers were left with a void in their pass rush. Gregory is expected to fill the void left by Barrett, though the Bucs may also address the position with their 26th overall selection pick.
Randy Gregory was expected to be selected in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft after playing well as a collegiate player for Nebraska. But before draft night, rumors about his troublesome behavior surfaced, which hurt him and sent him to the second round, where the Dallas Cowboys selected him.
After joining the Cowboys for seven years, Gregory only appeared in 50 games because of many suspensions. In addition to missing the entirety of the 2017 and 2019 seasons, he was suspended for all but two games in 2016.
22.0 sacks, 117 tackles, 69 quarterback hits, and 10 forced fumbles are among Gregory’s career totals.
