The great quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen, was selected by former NFL quarterback Tom Brady as the next signal caller to win his first Super Bowl.
Allen is not a Super Bowl player. He has enjoyed great success during his tenure as the starting quarterback for the Bills. Buffalo has won the AFC East the last four years and has made it to the postseason five times in a row.
Brady, however, cautions that Patrick Mahomes might stand in Allen’s way of winning a Super Bowl, given that the Chiefs have eliminated the Bills from the postseason three of the previous four seasons.
Buffalo has finished in the AFC Divisional round of the NFL’s final eight teams standing for the last three of their seasons.
The 2020 campaign marked Allen’s closest experience with a Super Bowl. In the AFC Championship game, Buffalo was crushed 38–24 by Kansas City, ending the 27-year-old’s hopes of winning a championship.
Regarding the potential next quarterback to win a Super Bowl for the first time, Brady stated on the DeepCut Podcast, “I really like Josh Allen.”
Josh is the one I would choose. As a man and a leader, I really like Josh. However, Brady continued, “He has to overcome the Chiefs, which will be difficult because of Patrick’s amazing leadership of that team.”
In January 2022, the Allen-Mahomes rivalry yielded another instant classic that changed the NFL’s overtime rules for the playoffs, allowing each club to have at least one possession without a time limit.
Taylor Swift attended the Chiefs’ Divisional playoff victory against the Bills in Buffalo during their most recent meeting between Mahomes and Allen.
Because to his famous girlfriend, the Oscar-nominated singer and actress Hailee Steinfeld, Allen has gained notoriety.
