With several players labeled as questionable, the Steelers concluded their practice in anticipation of their Saturday matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
Linebacker Elandon Roberts, safeties Trenton Thompson and Minkah Fitzpatrick, are all doubtful for the contest. On Thursday, they were all limited in practice.
Roberts did seem positive following practice on Thursday—very hopeful, in fact.
Roberts declared, “I think I am ready to go.” “I’ll play if I’m able to. I’m not a fan of missing out. if my level of health and satisfaction is sufficient.
“I’m leaving. I’m having fun.
Even while the Ravens may not be playing with all of their starters, Roberts stated that at this stage of the season, you also know what to anticipate from your opponent.
Roberts declared, “We are going to do what we do.” “At this stage of the season, every team is aware of their identity. We are familiar with the Ravens. The Ravens are familiar with us. Why be afraid? They obtained the menu. We also mastered it. Similar to the other groups, they were given the menu. We only need to put an end to them.”
Fitzpatrick has already missed six games this season due to an ankle injury, in addition to an earlier hamstring injury.
The Steelers have used a range of strategies to win while he has been sidelined.
“Guys have gotten injured, and we needed them to step up,” Heyward stated. “Whether it was the safeties, inside linebacker, d-line, or changing corners. It is what it is, really.
While that is a necessary aspect of the game, it speaks volumes about how these players simply stay focused, poised, and attentive during meetings.
