During his most recent visit on the Million Dollars Worth Of Game podcast, the elite wide receiver predicted that a prime Sanders would allow him to gain 175 yards and a few touchdowns.

He said that wide receivers are much more elusive now days and that they used to play a lot of man-to-man coverage. He also said that he could cause havoc in a variety of ways because he is a versatile player who can be effective in both short and deep routes.

That is undoubtedly a really daring remark.
While it is true that modern regulations greatly facilitate offensive players’ dominance and advantage over defensive backs, Prime remained the best shutdown corner nevertheless.

The only guy to consistently have any kind of success against Sanders was 49ers icon Jerry Rice—arguably the best wide receiver of all time. Naturally, Hill is among the greatest players in the game right now, and you have to admire his assurance. However, scoring two touchdowns and 175 yards against Deion Sanders? Cheetah, that simply isn’t occurring at all.
