In return for a selection swap, the Philadelphia Eagles acquired quarterback Kenny Pickett from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Following Russell Wilson’s one-year contract signing with the Steelers, Pickett became a tradeable asset. The Eagles will get Pickett along with pick No. 120 in exchange for the pick No. 98 and two 2025 7th-round picks from the Steelers.

Pittsburgh Steelers could soon prove Kenny Pickett is a big part of the  problem

After being selected with the 2022 No. 20 pick overall by the Pitt Panthers, Kenny Pickett joins the Eagles with 25 games of experience. With 13 touchdowns and 13 interceptions, he has completed 446 of 713 throws for 4,474 yards. Furthermore, on 97 carries, Pickett has gained 291 yards and four touchdowns via rushes.

Russell Wilson and Justin Fields, who the Steelers had acquired from the Chicago Bears in a different transaction involving Fields, now start at quarterback for the team.

In conclusion, the Pittsburgh Steelers have strengthened their quarterback depth chart by adding Russell Wilson and Justin Fields and trading Kenny Pickett to the Philadelphia Eagles.
