JUST IN: Reading Confirm That This Top Sensational Midfielder Decision On…..

Reading will be fighting to keep several players past the next summer transfer window. Arsenal has been keeping an eye on Tyler Bindon, so it wouldn’t be shocking if he garnered further attention before the summer officially begins.

Who is Tyler Bindon? The rising star wanted by Arsenal | OneFootball

Along with Sam Smith and Femi Azeez, Harvey Knibbs is another player the Royals would undoubtedly be eager to keep. He has 15 goals and six assists in 51 competitive appearances this season.
Azeez’s contract at the Select Car Leasing Stadium expires at the end of June, so it’s unclear if the Berkshire team will be able to keep him.

Even if he hasn’t played well lately, it wouldn’t be shocking to see him go on given he has previously been linked to a transfer to Plymouth Argyle. However, Lewis Wing has likely made the biggest on-field contribution to the Royals, as the midfielder has continuously demonstrated his talent during the 2023–24 season.

Lewis Wing’s position on the future of Reading FC
The fact that Wing still has two years left on his contract at SCL Stadium is encouraging for the Royals, who will likely want to either keep him or trade him for a high price this summer. It wouldn’t be shocking to see the midfield player depart the team given how excellent he has been this season. with a number of elite teams probably considering him as a possible target.

However, he stated to BBC Radio Berkshire analyst Tim Dellor after his team’s match against Burton Albion on Saturday that he would undoubtedly be sticking with the Royals for the upcoming season.
Why it’s surprising how Lewis Wing feels about Reading FC’s future

Wing’s performance this season as a Championship player, rather than a League One first-team player, has been outstanding, so it wouldn’t have been shocking if he had wanted to finalize a summer transfer out of Berkshire.

Even though he only played for Wycombe Wanderers for one season the previous season and might not want to relocate so quickly, at 28, he has the potential to sign a long-term deal with a team that plays at a better level.
Moving to a lower league would, of course, bring him a higher salary, and few Reading supporters would hold it against him if he left the club.

They can’t be complacent though, as there is a long summer ahead and the ownership situation needs to be resolved. They are desperate for him to stay put, and it appears like they may get their wish.
