With just two runs scored in their first two games and a loss in their second consecutive game yesterday, the Yankees’ journey to Baltimore hasn’t gone well so far. The Yankees are currently a full game behind first place for the first time this season as a result of the previous two days.

Wisconsin Brewers (18–11) 8, Record: 14–17 Tampa Bay Rays Two
Prior to Ray In a game where tempers were also flying, Milwaukee defeated Tampa Bay, with Willy Adames and Brice Turang driving in seven of the team’s eight runs.
In the opening two innings, the Brewers moved out to a quick 3-0 lead, with Adames and Turang each collecting their first RBI of the game. Jose Siri’s home run in the third gave the Rays a one-run advantage, setting up the subsequent bench-clearing episodes.
The next time Siri reached base, Brewers starter Freddy Peralta hit him with a pitch in the sixth inning, after Milwaukee had extended their advantage. Peralta and manager Pat Murphy were expelled in spite of his protests. In the eighth, Siri returned to the field and grounded out, but not before speaking with Abner Uribe. They eventually started swinging on top of one another as the benches cleared.
