JUST IN: This is not good at all, Yankees manager confirm this major Setback toward this…….

Due to soreness in his left forearm, right fielder Juan Soto of the New York Yankees left Thursday night’s game against the Minnesota Twins. On Friday, Soto is scheduled for an MRI. It’s premature to determine if the All-Star will miss time, according to New York manager Aaron Boone.

Soto told reporters, “I have no idea what it will show.” We’ve been trying to get rid of it and working on it ever since I felt the tightness and soreness in my forearm when I woke up one day. But it hasn’t gone away. Since joining the Yankees for the first time in December, when he was traded from the San Diego Padres, Soto has started all 64 games. The Yankees received good news on the severity of Soto’s forearm just before a pivotal series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Juan Soto injury update: Yankees address his availability vs. Dodgers

Juan Soto Soto’s first prognosis

According to Jon Hey of the New York Post, Soto underwent an MRI on Friday and was given a preliminary diagnostic of left forearm inflammation. For Friday’s game against the Dodgers, he is not starting. Soto is doubtful about his future, and he will sit out at least one game. He might have escaped a serious injury, though, based on the positive preliminary report. Heyman did say that a radiologist would check to make sure Soto didn’t end up on the injured list.

The Medical Staff Handled Soto With Caution

During Thursday’s rain delay, Soto was examined by the Yankees’ training staff, club physician, and orthopedic surgeon Chris Ahamd. It was decided that Soto should be removed from the game. Soto had the pain for “about a week and a half or two,” but it didn’t stop him from moving forward. On Thursday, Soto stated, “It’s not any specific activity.” It’s interesting because the discomfort I get with every arm movement I make is more noticeable than the pain I get when I hit or toss. That doesn’t, however, stop me from playing baseball on the field. Soto is having a strong outing.318/.424/.603 with 53 RBI and 17 home homers so far this season. He leads the American League in both batting average and on-base percentage.
