The Seattle Seahawks announced the inclusion of running back Ricky Person Jr. to their roster of ninety men, formally confirming the move that was reported last week.
Person, a North Carolina State alumnus, has played in just one NFL game but had spent the previous two seasons with the UFL Birmingham Dragons, where he led the league in touchdowns scored in 2024 with 297 yards of running. He was training with the Baltimore Ravens in 2022 as an undrafted free agent, a team coached by Mike Macdonald, the franchise’s new defensive coordinator. Running back TaMerik Williams, defensive end Rason Williams, and cornerback Ro Torrence have all been placed on waivers by the Seahawks.
