BREAKING NEWS: Dallas decide to take this to place Dak Prescott on……

Despite earlier public statements suggesting that the team planned to place quarterback  Dak Prescott on injured reserve, the Dallas Cowboys are not doing so. Prescott could return as early as December 15 if the Cowboys put him on injured reserve the following week.

The abrupt switch, though, also raises the prospect of Prescott making a comeback in fewer than four games. According to Jon Machota of TheAthletic.com, Jones stated, “At this time, I don’t think anyone knows whether it will be four weeks, six weeks, or the season.” “All we can do is keep an eye on that and see where it leads.”

If Prescott can return this season, the Cowboys, who are 3-5, won’t necessarily have any important football left to play. The outcomes they achieve with Cooper Rush leading the offense may also play a role in the decision to bring Prescott back this season.
