Orji has the potential to be one of the most potent weapons in college football if he can deliver as a passer.
Throughout his collegiate career, Michigan quarterback Alex Orji has been an electrifying runner, but most people don’t seem to be discounting his throwing ability.
Michigan edge rusher Josaiah Stewart said to the reporters on Tuesday, “Orji, obviously he has great legs, he can escape the pocket — but believe it or not, yeah, he can throw.” “On social media and other places, people might not believe that he can throw, even though he can.”
Orji only attempted one pass at Michigan, which resulted in a completion of five yards in 2023.
Orji has caused damage as a runner at Michigan, amassing 123 yards and three running touchdowns in two seasons. But Stewart clarified that during practice, Orji uses his arm to produce huge plays.
