In a match of two halves, Bristol City’s Nahki Wells scored the game’s winning goal to give City all three points over Plymouth Argyle.
In the 58th minute, Nahki Wells’ close-range header overcame Michael Cooper to seal the victory and give the team their second straight victory over the Pilgrims.
Argyle had a solid first half, but their carelessness in front of goal cost them dearly as they lost another encounter.

The hosts dominated the first few exchanges, suffocating City with their positive play segments.
Plymouth won six corners in the first ten minutes, with defender Bali Mumba volleying one of them over the crossbar.
Argyle went on the counterattack just as Bristol City was trying to establish some momentum, but Ryan Hardie missed the critical shot.
Subsequently, Morgan Whittaker outran Rob Dickie and Haydon Roberts to cut inside and score against Max O’Leary, who was unfazed by the City goal.

With just a few minutes remaining, Argyle got a risky free kick that O’Leary skillfully pushed away, earning Cam Pring a booking.
