BREAKING NEWS: Mariners confirm signing this top sensational star worth……

A new topic of discussion around the Seattle Mariners before to the MLB trade deadline is Jazz Chisholm Jr.

What’s noteworthy about the Mariners at the All-Star break?

Only a few weeks before MLB’s July 30 deadline, the Miami Marlins outfielder was connected to the M’s on Sunday in MLB insider Bob Nightengale’s weekly column for USA Today. The Seattle Mariners are now the front-runners to acquire center fielder Jazz Chisholm, which the Miami Marlins have been hoping to trade for all season, according to Nightengale. In order to gauge the veracity of this claim, Craig Mish, senior baseball contributor for the Miami Herald and MLB Network, was reached on Monday by Bump and Stacy of Seattle Sports.

The Miami Marlins must extend Jazz Chisholm Jr. NOW

Mish acknowledged the Mariners’ interest in Chisholm, but he also made clear that if the Marlins decide to let him go this month, they still have plenty of time to take action.

Mish stated, “The Mariners have interest in Jazz, no doubt about it. But, based simply on my intelligence, I think it goes too far to say, at least in my view, that it’s a guarantee. I believe he will be attractive to multiple teams. Would a Jazz to Seattle Mariners trade make sense. Being a one-time All-Star with a well-known name and demeanor, 26-year-old Chisholm is undoubtedly an intriguing talent. Despite being limited by injury to just 60 games, he was an All-Star in 2022 and finished with a solid.860 OPS. He’s cutting this year, that’s for sure.12 home runs, 18 stolen bases, and a.727 OPS in 93 games (249/.321/.407) are quite close to what he did in 97 games in 2023 (albeit a little less slugging and a little more on base this year).

The issues
Given that Chisholm was selected as the most overrated player in an MLB player survey by The Athletic that was released last month, his name might be the most divisive of any players rumored to be on the trade market. One year has passed since he appeared on the cover of the video game “MLB The Show.”

Mish threw some water on Chisholm’s interpretation.

Given that he was featured on the cover of “MLB The Show” and is a visually striking athlete, I can understand that. However, I would argue that any perception of him being overvalued may be from the past because he has struggled to remain on the field in the past, but he has participated in almost every game the Marlins have played this season, Mish said. Additionally, he has performed well this year as well. In the past year or so, I believe he has matured significantly. I suppose what I’m saying is that I just don’t buy that. He undoubtedly has some rivals or envious players in the league, after all. In my opinion, he is an excellent player. Is he a great MVP candidate who plays every year? No, he hasn’t yet demonstrated that.
