Sadly, Biggio had difficulty making the most of his brief stay with the Dodgers. He was making cuts.192, 306, 329, and a.635 OPS. He will be paid the remaining amount of his 2024 contract if he is claimed off waivers by another team. Biggio’s salary for this season is $4.21 million. Biggio is an accomplished player with experience, yet it’s unclear if any team will select him.
He didn’t play every day last season, but he still made an offensive and defensive contribution to the Blue Jays. Compared to his 16 home runs in 2019, his performance in 2019 was incomparable. Biggio hasn’t been consistent overall, so a contending team won’t be likely to contemplate claiming him.
