With Kyle Hamilton, the great safety, the Baltimore Ravens seem to have dodged a worst-case situation. Late in the Ravens’ Sunday practice, the All-Pro defender sustained an injury. After hanging onto his left leg, Hamilton stood slowly. Though he could walk off the field on his own, the 23-year-old proceeded toward the indoor facilities with a significant limp.
The Ravens’ renowned defense from the previous season was anchored by Hamilton. With 4 interceptions, 3.0 sacks, and 81 total tackles, he was voted first-team All-Pro. Surpassing teammate Pro Bowlers Roquan Smith (158) and Patrick Queen (133), the third-year pro’s tackle total was third on the squad.
