Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur target David Hancko, who plays for Dutch giants Feyenoord. The defender could be on the verge of a move to the Premier League, with reports linking him to a potential switch to London.
According to TEAMtalk (via CaughtOffside), the Blues are searching for replacements for defenders like Axel Disasi and Benoit Badiashile. The duo have struggled to impress this season, and the Blues are prepared to sell them while turning to Hancko as a quality alternative.
The 27-year-old has made over 300 appearances for different clubs, including Fiorentina, Sparta Prague, and Feyenoord. He has also played in the Champions League and Europa League at different points in his career, and he has the capacity to switch to Stamford Bridge.
However, it won’t particularly be easy for the Blues to sign David Hancko, with Tottenham Hotspur reportedly interested in his services. Spurs are struggling with injuries to their backline, and they may look towards the Feyenoord defender in the January transfer window.
