Sad News: Just IN New York Jets Announced Departure Of Top Sensational Star

Star edge rusher Bryce Huff of the New York Jets went down on Monday. Along with fellow free agent Saquon Barkley, Huff decided to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles, significantly strengthening their position.

Jets: Bryce Huff breaks franchise record with Eagles deal
The specifics of Huff’s deal were disclosed by Brian Costello of the New York Post:

“A source confirmed that Edge rusher Bryce Huff, who led the team in sacks the previous season, has agreed to a three-year, $51.1 million contract with the Eagles,” Costello stated.

“According to the NFL Network, the deal pays him an average of $17 million per season and can go as high as $20,033 million per year.”

Huff is now the highest-paid non-quarterback undrafted free agent in NFL history thanks to his contract. The 6-3 pass-rusher’s resume was commensurate with his pay.

What Huff accomplished to earn top pay in 2023: The Memphis native recorded an incredible 10 sacks. Pro Football Focus gave him a player grade of 79.7 for the year based on his performance.

Huff was considered a good choice by the Eagles to bolster their D-Line. They totaled 43 sacks as a group previous season, which only 13 teams could not match.

There’s a big hole in the Jets’ department right now. In 2024, they will also need to replace his 21 quarterback hits.
