Breaking News: Buffalo Bills Just Confirm Signing Another Sensational Super Star From NFL

The Bills are almost certain to add a high-profile replacement in free agency or the draft after losing Gabe Davis early in the permissible tampering period. In the interim, though, the AFC East champions will add a supplemental component.

Mack Hollins has committed to Buffalo following a season in Atlanta, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com. Two years ago, Hollins had a career-best season in Las Vegas with Davante Adams, but he struggled with the Falcons. Fowler tweets that Hollins will get a one-year contract worth up to $3MM from the Bills.

Josh McDaniels benched Hunter Renfrow in favor of Hollins as the Raiders’ number two wide receiver in 2022. With 690 receiving yards in all that season, he exceeded the former Eagles fourth-round pick’s typical range by a significant margin. Although Hollins did not score a touchdown in his Falcons career, he put together back-to-back seasons with four touchdowns in 2021 (with Miami) and 2022. With Atlanta, Hollins only caught 18 passes for 251 yards; the team has now decided to acquire Darnell Mooney for a somewhat greater price.

With Davis joining the Jaguars and Buffalo losing a couple key veteran starters, the team finds itself in a difficult situation. Stefon Diggs, the team’s starting wide receiver, is still with them, but he had a difficult end to the 2023 campaign. Josh Allen was temporarily filled by Khalil Shakir, but Davis’ departure creates a long-term gap. Hollins does offer experience as a tertiary target and has a wealth of expertise as a special team member, which the squad will take into consideration.
